Located within the dark heart of Tanaan Jungle, Hellfire Citadel looms over the landscape and can be seen from nearly anywhere within the area. Having braved the dangers of Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry, the heroes of Azeroth and Draenor now must assault this fel-twisted bastion—the horrors within pose an unrelenting threat to everyone on Azeroth.
April showers may bring May flowers, but they don’t put food on your Garrison’s tables. The war against the Iron Horde marches on, and the battle will be advancing into Tanaan Jungle in Patch 6.2—now available on the Public Test Realms.
Deep within Tanaan Jungle, the manipulations of the warlock Gul’dan have twisted what remains of the Iron Horde into a sinister new form—an army of fel orcs brimming with demonic strength and insatiable bloodlust. Now Gul’dun continues his machinations from inside the seemingly impenetrable Hellfire Citadel, plotting to open a portal for a massive invasion force.
Blackrock Foundry is open. Are you ready?

Just when you thought you’d become comfortable (as comfortable as one can get in a Gladiator pit) with Highmaul, we thought it was time to shake things up and share a preview for our next Raid – Blackrock Foundry – as well as announce the latest World Raid boss, Rukhmar who will make his debut at the same time.

A massive city that belies the ogre reputation for brutish stupidity, Highmaul is full of bustling markets, wealthy nobles, and the roar of the Coliseum crowd echoing through the streets of the slums.
The ongoing battle between two raiding behemoths continues! This year’s BlizzCon World of Warcraft Live Raid will once again pit Horde guild Method (EU-Twisting Nether) against Alliance guild Midwinter (US-Sargeras) in a battle for PvE supremacy.

Warlords of Draenor offers heroes an opportunity to continue their journey into a new savage land, but before you take your leave of Mists of Pandaria, we wanted to remind you that you may have some unfinished business to attend to – before it’s too late.
In our latest Warlords of Draenor preview, we turn our gaze upward to the Spires of Arak, a zone of soaring heights and shadow-drenched crags—but as with much of Draenor, the beauty of this place hides something sinister. Game Designer Don Adams and Associate Quest Designer Johnny Cash fill us in on what to expect.
Our latest zone preview takes us into the expansive hills and rocky outcroppings of Nagrand, where great beasts cause the ground to quake beneath their feet, and the wolf riders of the Warsong clan are always on the prowl. But they’re not the only ones who make this verdant land their home. We sat down with Senior Game Designer Eric Maloof and Associate Game Designer Kurt Sparkuhl to learn more.
Built upon the remnants of an ogre civilization, Ashran looks like a nice enough island just off the coast of Tanaan Jungle—and would be a lovely place to visit if not for the never-ending tug-of-war between the Horde and Alliance. Then again, this might just be just your kind of excursion. Are you ready for it?
